This beauty of this book is its simplicity. The pages write of a bunny and her box – how she imagines the box to be a race car, a mountain peak, a building on fire, and so on.
As we read on, we learn that the box is not a box, it can be anything the bunny wants it to be. Though it is a children’s book, I find that it also serves to remind us adults not to dampen the child’s creativity and imagination. Indeed, with so many ‘educational toys’ available out there today, I often forget that children don’t really need these toys to have fun.
