Each Peach Pear Plum by Janet and Allan Ahlberg

Each Peach Pear Plum is an interesting book which can be read in so many ways.

On the surface, it looks like a simple-to-read story, which doesn’t make much sense, married with complex and busy pictures on the opposite pages.
Take this book one step further and you can turn it into a canvas for an ‘I Spy’ game, which will bring endless hours of fun (but of course not at one sitting) because of the numerous objects in the pictures.
Finally, every page features one or more characters from popular children’s stories, so you could always make a detour and tell the story about these characters if you wish.

At 16 months of age, Samantha enjoys playing ‘I Spy’ and looking for the items all over the book!
