Ideas for Flashcards

After doing up a few flashcard sets I realised that I was running out of ideas for Flashcard themes. Sure, you may say that there are so many themes that can be done, but I don’t really want to be doing a theme that is unsuitable/unpractical for my child who is less than a year old (is ‘subway signs from different countries’ really relevant for a 9 month old?! We were showed that at a recent Shichida lesson).

To share with others who may also occasionally suffer from a ‘writer’s block’ like me, here’s a list of the flashcard sets that I have done up so far, which I think is age-appropriate for under 1 year of age:

  • Accessories
  • Animals (you can have lots of sets of these)
  • Baby actions (pictures of babies walking, sleeping, etc)
  • Babies doing hobbies (pictures of babies painting, taking photos, etc)
